The Amazon Luna Twitter account posted a not so subtle tweet announcing “Well, it’s not NOT time to check your email for a Luna invitation again”. Which means as of December 1st, a new wave of hopefuls have just been sent their Amazon Luna invitations.
Despite being in early access, eager gamers are awaiting their chance to test the upcoming cloud gaming service from Amazon. The service will be entering the same arena as other streaming services including Xbox Game Pass and the newly released Google Stadia. Currently, there are a few requirements to access the Amazon Luna platform which should change over time.
Only people in the US can sign up to Luna at the moment and it can only be accessed through a PC, iOS device or an Amazon Fire TV Stick. It does not work for Android or Console right now. However, the company does release Android tablets so we can expect them to include Android OS into the mix in the future. Once you begin the sign-up process, you’ll need to go through a short survey.
Amazon Luna has no release date yet and the only way to gain access is through the early access program found on Amazon.
