DIRT 5 Review

DIRT is one of the game series that’s all about games, having fun and also racing in some really cool locations. DIRT 5 tries to move the series forward with some incredible gameplay, fun mechanics, and a great way to create your own game experience with the Arcade mode. That’s what makes it spectacular, different and a standout in the Amazon Luna library of games.

DIRT 5 stands out when compared to the other titles in the series because it’s really focused on offroad racing. It has all kinds of different disciplines, like super trucks, ice racing, rally cross, it also has offroad buggies too. All players can check out various races in many locations like South Africa, China, NYC, Norway, Morocco, Greece, Brazil and so on.

Another great thing about the game is that it has a dynamic weather system, it also has seasons too. All of these will affect the gameplay, and you will find yourself tested in a variety of ways as you try to win. It’s nice to see that you can even play splitscreen on the same computer, with up to 3 other people. It definitely becomes chaotic, but it’s totally an option that you need to take into consideration as much as possible in order to push the boundaries and the experience to the next level.

The game comes with its own narrative. We have a rival driver and in order to reach him, we need to go through multiple championships. It’s great because not only does it have a lot of great moments, but you get to test yourself and how you play. It’s exciting because we also have a mentor telling us what to do and how we can push the limits as much as we can. It’s always a great idea to really take your time and replay levels so you can accumulate more money and reputation, and you can indeed do that.

DIRT 5 offers a lot of diversity when it comes to both locations and events, and you will find yourself impressed with the gameplay and the way it all comes together. It’s exciting because you have a very high level of control over what you play next. The head to head challenges with “bosses” are also refreshing too. But the sheer fact that you have mini-missions as you play, such as drifting for a certain amount of time or reaching a certain high speed can change the way you play. They offer a lot of creativity, and the experience itself is refreshing and rewarding because of that.

It’s nice to see the DIRT series bringing in yet another iteration, and this one is very engaging and exciting. If you like racing games in general, you will find DIRT 5 a lot of fun, especially if you’re more into offroading. The game does a very good job at bringing in all kinds of great moments, and the results as a whole are extremely interesting. You definitely have to check it out for yourself, and you will be amazed with the way it plays and how much content is there.
