Yakuza Kiwami Review

Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the original Yakuza game that originally dropped in 2016 for the PS4 and 2019 for the PC and recently on Amazon Luna. This game is lit, fam! Developed by Sega, Yakuza Kiwami is set in the fictional Tokyo district of Kamurocho. It follows the story of Kazuma Kiryu, a straight-up OG yakuza member who gets out of prison after doing a ten-year stretch for a crime he didn’t commit.

First off, let me just say that the story is straight fire! It’s got twists, turns, and all kinds of drama that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The way the story plays out is top-notch, making it a real cinematic experience. You get to see Kazuma’s life before and after his prison sentence, and how he gets involved with other yakuza members, shady business deals, and dangerous rival gangs.
